Wow did I cave under pressure! We did all the rainy day activities I could pack in one day, with the help of the older kids I think it went pretty well. Then came the BIG question........... "Mom can we have friends spend the night?" Ohhhhhhhhhhh I should have known it was coming all day! So now I have a housefull of preteens......3 giggly little girls and 3 not so tough hyper little boys!
My 15 year old is handling the 3 -12 year old boys group nicely. An XBOX 360 Party with lots of endless snacking!
BUT what to do with 3 giggly 10 year old girls! They decided they wanted to have a makeup party. I seriously didnt want 6 little hands dipping into my make up so we decided wed have a make your own make up party.......
Lip gloss is a must for any preteen make up party
sugar-free, pre-sweetened Kool-Aid Strawberry-Kiwi mixed in to petroleum jelly
Face Mask
mixing 2 ounces yogurt
and ½ a banana; spread evenly on face. Leave on for 20 minutes; rinse off.
DAZZLE IT UP A BIT WITH:
Girls had alot of fun with using some clear nail polish mixed with fine glitter to make dazzle nails.
Bag full of ribbons and clippys for making fun hair do's.
Took some cool pics for them to put in their scrapbooks! Wow would this be cool to pull out to show on prom night to their dates HAHAHA!

Great idea... My girls give each other makeovers all the time... I love the glitter and the kool-aid...idea... next sleepover I'm all over it.
