HOMEMADE CLEANING SUPPLIES/ CLEANING ON A BUDGET FRUGAL

Weather starting to finally take a turn for the better. YEAHHHHHHhhhhhh SPRING!! I think the older i get the more i dislike winter.

Time for the kids to enjoy some fresh air and let me tell you after them being cooped up in the house for months im ready for it too!

Along with nice weather comes spring cleaning! Some how I dont mind all the chorses of spring cleaning. Open up the windows and let the sun shine. EXCEPT for one thing........WOW are the windows discusting! Save some money and make your own cleaning supplies:

Sparkling clean windows use: Window Cleaner
You will need:
6 teaspoons of vinegar1/2 teaspoons liquid dish soap2 to 3 cups of waterA spray bottle
Combine the ingredients and pour into the spray bottle. Spray on your windows and wipe.


Carpet freshener: To make a homemade carpet deodorizer, combine two tablespoons cornstarch, 1/4 cup perfumed talcum powder, and 3/4 cup baking soda. Sprinkle the mixture on dry carpet and let stand five to 15 minutes before vacuuming.

Furniture polish: Mix two parts olive oil to one part lemon juice to make a simple homemade furniture polish.

Shower cleaner: Scrub your shower with vinegar, then use baking soda as a scouring powder for stains and tough soap scum. Rinse thoroughly with water when finished.

Toilet bowl cleaner: Sprinkle baking soda into your toilet, then add a small amount of vinegar before scrubbing with a toilet
